Frickley Park Horse Trials and British Eventing and excited to announce details of the YORKSHIRE CHALLENGE for 2018, with both the White Rose Walling BE100YC class and the Bloomfields Horseboxes BE90YC class
What is the Yorkshire Challenge?
The event was created to celebrate eventing in Yorkshire, with the intention of giving riders a goal for the season ahead and a fun and thrilling way to end the season. The challenge will consist of a championship dressage test, followed by specially designed and testing BE100 and BE90 tracks finishing with reverse order show jumping scheduled to be held in front of the beautiful Frickley Hall.
How do I qualify?
To qualify for the White Rose Walling BE100 Yorkshire Challenge you have to have been placed 1st to 5th at any BE100 or BE100 open class that have been held in Yorkshire in the 12 months before the ballot date, 9 August 2018
To qualify for the Bloomfields Horseboxes BE90 Yorkshire Challenge you have to have been palced 1st to 5th at any BE90 or BE90 open class that have been held in Yorkshire in the 12 months before the ballot date, 9 August 2018
Both Challenge classes exclude riders who have competed Advanced or 3* within the past 5 years
As ever Frickley Park Horse Trials are keen to reward the riders for all of their efforts with some of the best prizes in the country. The winner of the White Rose Walling BE100 Yorkshire Challenge will not only receive £1,000 and the BE100 Challenge Trophy, but a BE membership and Horse registration for the 2019 season. Second prize is £250, third £150 and fourth £100 with further prize money for lower places. The winner of the Bloomfields Horseboxes BE90 Yorkshire Challenge will receive £500, the BE90 Challenge Trophy and a BE membership and Horse registration for the 2019 season.
The prize giving will be mounted and in front the picturesque hall. Frickley wish you the best of luck qualifying and we look forward to seeing you in September for the YORKSHIRE CHALLENGE!
